February 2025 News

Dear Friends of the Cathedral Heritage Foundation,

We are delighted to share an episode of John McGivern’s Main Streets which prominently features our Cathedral of Saint Paul. We were fortunate that Fr. Joseph Johnson made time for this taping only two weeks after he had returned to the Cathedral as rector. The show airs on PBS stations around the upper Midwest, including Chicago, Indianapolis, Michigan, Iowa, and of course, here in the Twin Cities. The “Cathedral Hill” episode premiered on YouTube this past weekend and already has had three-thousand views! We hear John McGivern’s show ranks as the number one show on Wisconsin PBS, most popular with travel buffs, and last year reached five-million households. Travel buffs, we welcome you!!

We have the full show link below, as well as links to EXTRA video segments John McGivern’s team produced with Fr. Joseph and organist, Chris Ganza. Enjoy and share with your friends.

You’ll also note below that a Cathedral fan favorite, Steven C., is returning to the Cathedral for a free concert on Saturday, March 15 to kick off the St. Patrick’s Day weekend with beautiful Irish melodies, inspirational hymns and Lenten reflections.

Wishing you all good health and spirits in these waning days of winter.

Warmly,

The Board of Directors, Cathedral Heritage Foundation

Enjoy!

The concert is free, but the host would love to have you register on Eventbrite.
